LS9 Valves in LS3 Heads?

LS9 Valves in LS3 Heads? I have some used exhaust valves from an LS9 and was wondering if there would be any fitment issues if I were to attempt to put them in a set of LS3 heads. I know they both have the same diameter.

Yup they will fit. If you look in the 2014 GMPP catalog they list an upgrade kit that gives you valves keepers springs everything from the LS9 heads to upgrade a LS3 head. Not 100% sure about the keepers between the two valves though.
ls9 exhaust valves are 1.59 just like the ls3 and l92 heads but they are stainless steel sodium valve filled. i have done the swap on quite a few ls3 heads and the lsk lobed cams love the lightweight valves 
all i do is buy BTR titanium retainer .660 lift double spring kit and add on the order to swap 8 retainers to ls9 retainers and done
