important question This may be wrong section but pertains to both internal and external. I'm going with a fast 92 intake and a flow tech street sweeper 112 lsa cam. The issue is heads. I was looking at AFR 205 heads then found on Craigslist a guy had lsx 317 heads. Will the 317 heads work with the cam and intake? I realize the 317 heads drop compression and change from 64 cc to 72 cc but do they compliment a .600" lift cam?
Stock 317s? If so, they will work OK, but are nothing special. They are the same as 243s, just with larger Combustion chambers. The AFRs should be worth a good 40HP + over the factory heads.
