Well the answer is the Lunati drop in style LS lifter set. Priced well below the Morels and not too much above the ls7s, you can get a much higher quality lifter that drops right in. No need to measure to the nearest .000001" either as they have the standard range for preload like the ls7 does. Which works out good because everyone has a different view on what is acceptable. They are like the Ronco Electric Food Dehydrator. You set them and forget them.
