Default Beef up the bottom end LS2

I am at a cross roads with my 05 LS2 Corvette. Last year I built the top end and ran the car on a stock LS2 bottom. I am running a Magnuson M112 making 563WHP with ported heads, a cam, and methanol injection. Car as well as intake temps run very cool. On my last ride of last year before I put the car away my oil pump crapped out. I caught it in time and I feel like the bearings are probably ok. Now that I have to pull the motor anyway, I am thinking of turning lemons into lemonade. I am toying with the idea of forging the bottom end. I see texas speed has a forged stroker kit for around $2K which puts me in the budget range I can afford before balancing and install; however my goal is to keep this car forced induction, I don't really see the benefit of increasing the displacement. I was toying with the idea of just doing a set of rods and pistons. Of course the increased displacement couldn't hurt I don't want to wind up $5K deep in a new bottom end. I plan on turning the boost up to around 13-14lbs on the tiny blower I have now, and then in the future either going to a TVS2300 or a turbo kit. I would like to leave room for around 800-900whp. What is my best course of action?

Toss is a set of forged pistons and rods, balance em on the stock crank and that will handle upwards of 1000rwhp. You don't need a stroker kit for all that boost, and frankly you're better off with a shorter stroke as that will leave more meat at the top of the pistons which will help hold the boost better.

That's what i was thinking. I don't care so much about the added displacement, I am more interested in more boost and detonation resistance. What type of abuse can a stock crank take?

Boost is artificially telling the engine how big to act. Hot Rod did a turbo
build a few years back and quit after 30lbs of boost kept snuffing the plugs
out on a stock bottom end 4.8....293 inches made 1204 hp
