Default spark plug problem or something worse?

Heading back from break my car ticking loud out of no where. after i got off i noticed the back passenger wire where it meets the plug was limp looking. when i detached the wire from the coil pack the plug came with it and the threads were burnt. i dont know if that was the cause of the ticking alone as i have yet to replace my plugs. anyone got any other ideas?

Hopefully the threads in the head are ok, but I doubt it. Plug might have been left loose and over time began burning & leaking. The head can most likely be repaired with a helicoil.

The sound you heard was the firing of that cylinder as it began leaking worse & worse.

Warranty?

I guess that's one way to fix it!
