Exclamation Lq4 or lq9 turbo build

I'm planning to take the old bbc out and do a twin turbo build
With either the lq4 or lq9. But I don't know which one to go with so I wanted to ask you guys what y'all would do.

I'd like a 408 with twins and around 800rwhp
It's more of a street truck that will see the track every now and then

But I want to be able to drive it everyday if I want to

So let's see some ideas y'all have or similar builds y'all have done

Or could I achieve my goal with a factory bore lq4 or lq9?

Lq4 and Lq9 are the same block. The Lq4 has dished pistons and lower compression.
If you plan on changing pistons and rods it won't matter which one you start out with. If you plan on making that kind of power I wouldn't expect stocks pistons to last very long. At the very least you'll have to open up the ring gap and put in some better rod bolts.
You can make that kind of power with a stock bottom end but how long will it last? There are many threads with people making more power than that but there are also threads where they have blown up after a very short time.
I'm building a 6-71 blown 408 and it's all forged. I don't really have the budget for it but I can't see building a grenade either. It's just going to take me longer to do.

Im building the same except with a new block, clean up the holes, forged rods and pistons for turbo'd application, stuck crank, good bearings and studs. Great street car stuff. You wanna race it gets more expensive good luck
