solid Roller Lifters
I bought the cheap Morel Solid Roller lifters part number 5452.
I'm going for a max effort build on a grudge race car.
Should I go with larger body lifters and machine the block for better tolerances? Or even possibly bronze lifter guides?
Had a company tell me the Morel 5452 are good to go and had a local builder tell me to machine the lifter bores.
Thanks for any advice.
They have a few good lifters but with only .700 that should not be any problem
hit Mr. Tooley for your springs he will tell you what else 2 get 2 have that baby Purrrring like a.......LION...lol.

I use heavy duty drop in comp cams pro elites, take a close look at these.
Among the details I like on these is they are super light only 96 grams completely polished so at high speed the lateral loads will not cause the lifter to attack the bore, and reduce spring capacity or cause valve train to destabilize.
Huge axel and bearing are direct oil fed and incredibly strong, plus the needle bearings are not visible and are completely enclosed in, axel and needle bearings are completely polished.
Those I call them drop in, don't call anything drop in unless I find it completely worthy.

The picture you'll see is not the correct representation but they have the real McCoy on sale.
A lot less than I paid for mines.
And now the real picture..

Is that correct ?
Is the bush on the roller as opposed to needles ?
For a street car with solid roller, which would be the best option ?
