Hello ppl I need help on getting a cam for my 2000 Camaro ss I'm going to port out my heads, I'm not looking for the biggest cam but something that can be better than what is in the car already. Mods in my car is full exhaust-long tube headers, slp exhaust, slp lid, ported TB, centerforce clutch.

Hit Tick Perfomance cams anything you could think of Mars(Martin) has it or can make it tailored 2 your very own build or car.
Takes the guess work out the game.

Most proven overall cam is a 224 cam. I'll just get one of those and if you wanted the cam to sound bigger get the cam on a 111+3 LSA. Should hit hard then

I know I can go bigger but I want it to be drivable in the streets and go where ever I want without to many issues or I should say NO issues. I still got AC on my car so I really want to keep it as daily driver but with more b***s....
BUT AGAIN WHICH CAM CAN GO WITH MY PORTED HEADS

I'd go 228R with ported heads. Nothing bigger.

We have two camshafts that would fit your desires perfectly.

The first is our LS1/LS6 Stage 1 Street Heat cam which is 225/228 .612/.571 112+3.

The second is our LS2 Stage 1 Street Heat cam which is 229/232 .615/.575 113+3.

Both perform very well for their size and drive with extremely docile manners. Expect a gain of 45-50rwhp and 25-30rwtq with each camshaft with the LS2 Stage 1 producing the higher peak torque and peak HP figures.

If you have additional or further questions about either camshaft please feel free to give me a call at our shop or email me at the address in my signature below.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the referral. FYI. We carry just about every major brand of cams out there ... COMP Cams, CAM MOTION, LUNATI, TSP (Texas Speed & Performance), BTR (Brian Tooley Racing), CRANE Cams ... you name it. It's all on our website.

Here is a quick link ...

We also can spec you out a cam and custom grind it for you. Just shoot me an email with what you're looking for.
