Slight knock noise. ls2 gto
The knock or noise gets worse once the coil on cylinder 6 is unplugged. If unplugging any other coil pack on the car, the car just idles like a misfire. The car idles perfect when all are plugged in.
Removed valve cover and nothing looks out of place or loose. Oil inside the head looks good, still has about 600 miles till next oil change on mobil1. Spark plug on that cylinder looks good. car has 84000 miles.
Any insight?
What are the changes that a connecting rod bolt broke or loosened up? Is dropping the oil pan a MotherFer on this thing?
or is this the famous #6 rod bearing?
