Road race L92 Build

Road race L92 Build
I roadrace a C6 Vette and needed a new LS3 for it. I found a refreshed L92 and had it gone through again with some small highlights:
- ported the exhaust side only
- valve job
- decked the heads (62.4cc)
- LS3 intake valves
- stock bottom end (376ci) with deep eyebrows in the pistons (2.3cc) so no valve contact
- 11.21 compression
- pump gas
- BTR custom roadrace cam, springs, pushrods etc
- Stock LS3 TB and intake (untouched)
- 16lb clutch and flywheel
- Dry Sump oiling system
- LG Super Pro 1 7/8 headers to 3" X and 3" out the back (no cats or mufflers)
- Cam is 23x/24x, almost 600 lift, 111+4, HUC lobes. Car has stock 3.42 Z06 rear gears and trans.
505RWHP SAE was the target and we got there with 480rwtq. I'm impressed!
First test is this weekend, praying it stays together for the maiden voyage Thought I'd share. I think in a typical street car this would not do as well on a dyno (clutch/exhaust/drysump help). The clutch alone gained me 11rwhp from the stock C6 Z06 clutch just for reference. Let me know if you have any questions..

Launching!

That's a stout engine! I like that it carries the torque and horsepower at nearly peak for such a large part of the RPM range. Torque curve is broad and flat like a table top. Looks like a fun engine that would be a hoot in a street car as well. The tight LSA 111+ 4 cam sure seems to be a good choice.

Looks good.
Power will carry a bit further if you change to a RCR modified inlet manifold.
On our LS3 the manifold change required the limiter to be lifted 100rpm and pulled a consistent extra 1mph in the quarter.
