Default Titanium LS7 valve spring retainers with 1.959" height

I have been trying to locate a set of titanium LS7 valve spring retainers. PSI (Matt) said any LS1, LS2, LS3, or LS6 retainer will fit. They will fit the 8mm valve stem and the beehive style spring, but the height is wrong.

The issue is the LS1, LS2, LS3, and LS6 family use a 1.800” installed height and the LS7 use 1.959” installed height. Part of the height difference is the longer LS7 valves, but a substantial portion of it is in the retainer. The photo shows an LS3 titanium retainer on top and an LS7 OEM retainer on the bottom. Both retainers are on identical OEM LS7 valves.

Does anyone manufacture an LS7 titanium retainer for the 1.959" install height, or even something close?

I haven't heard of any, however most guys are installing aftermarket springs that require a 1.800" installed height and the LS1 style retainers do that.

Are you trying to shave a few grams off the retainer and keep the stock springs?

The new PSI LS1515ML spring is designed for the LS7 taller install height. It replaces the 1511 beehive spring for the LS7.
Yes, I'd like to use the 1515 spring with a lighter retainer.
Thanks Brian

If you have a month or two I would entertain making a retainer to fit your requirements. I really like making parts that no one else makes.

Thanks Brian. If I can't track down a set, I'll call you.
I just sent an inquiry to Xceldyne and Manley.

TTT.

Seeking an update on the Ti retainer for the "stock" install height. I'm also running the PSI1515 with stock steel retainer.

Been able to spin her to 7250RPMs with no signs of valve float wit stock Ti intake valve and Ferrera F2042P hollow stem. Ill love to save a few grams!
