Default Help with head choice

I know, another head thread.

Here's my set up, 99% street driven we 14 Chevrolet SS, auto, stock stall, 3.27 rear, LS3 and 4000lbs. Stainless Works headers and full 3" exhaust with cats. Roto-fab air intake. Stock intake manifold.

My Cam is the CamMotion stage 1 for the LS3. 210/218 115 +4 .570/.560 this chosen for around town torque, drive ability and smoothness, andno, I'm not changing it.

The factory heads are stock, if I keep them I will only do a bowl cleanup. I am looking at the new Edelbrock LS3 heads which are 230cc, 12.5 vavle angle. I am leaning towards this head for the obvious reasons due to the smaller port.

My question is this, I have stock LS3 heads, two pair actually, so I could sell them to recoup some of my costs, but the draw for a small port LS3 head is tempting.

Thoughts?

First off.....nice to see a fellow SS owner in these parts .

Your CamMotion cam is very mild.

Since it's your car, I'd love to see you put the E'brocks on just to see what the results would be.

But.....if it were my car, I'd stick with the stockers unless I was gonna go with a lot more cam down the road.

Best of luck!!

Run the heads you have now!! I like that cam choice. It's go be a torque monster. Hot Rod intalled a 210/218 cam in a 6.0 with L92 heads. On the engine dyno the motor put out 460 horses and over 460 ft lbs also!!
