Figured I would order one since my motor is out. Very quick shipping to me in MD. It's a well made piece, came with clear instructions and a personal letter from the owner (nice touch).

I'm running a 4.125" MID sleeved LS1 block, Callies DS 4" crank & Callies Compstar rods. I orders p/n EGM-305. I had plenty of clearance between the rods and rotating assembly. No trimming/filing was necessary.

If I was to have any complaints at all, it would be that the two front 12mm nuts are not included with the scraper. The stock windage tray doesn't attach to the forward most ARP main studs like the scraper does, so there are no OEM nuts here. C'mon guys.... raise the price up $5 and throw a couple new nuts in the box. You've got a great product at a very fair price point.

I was able to fish a couple of nuts from my spare parts bins, like most people, but new would have been nice. Minor, in the grand scheme of things.

Improved Racing what is the recommended minimum clearance to all rotating parts?
0.020" minimum. We design them for 0.040" +/- 0.020".

I don't have an answer to that. I think it may leave less material around the rods than I'd be comfortable with. For the scraper to work with the stock windage tray, we can't really make it much wider, so we are now looking at designing custom windage trays with the scraper built in.

If you'd like to try it and you end up having to modify it to fit, take some detailed measurements and pictures to help us with R&D and we can give you a refund.

Thank you everyone for the feedback! This will help us develop a line of crank scrapers that will hopefully fit the majority of setups out there with little to no trimming required, which has proven to be no easy task.

Looks like we are getting some contradictory feedback here... Are you guys running the same setup? More details please?

Ryan, we include a couple of windage tray nuts in our F-Body specific (factory stroke) kit for that reason. We don't include them in the universal kits because no other vehicle requires the extra nuts. As soon as we include them and increase the price, we will be flooded with requests to sell it without the nuts, haha. So as a solution we may just add an option to include the extra nuts if desired. Thanks for the suggestion.

Well I went ahead and ordered one from you guys with all my oil cooler goodies. As soon as I get my short block back from ERL I'll bolt it up and let you you know if it needs trimming or not.

I would like to run one of these on my 4.125 stroke 441. The integrated crank scraper/ windage tray would be ideal in my mind.

I ordered one this morning. As mentioned, I will incorporate anything that will help with the oiling.
