Default Spun bearing on bottom end G8 L76.. What to do?

So not looking for the cheapest solution but not ***** out $$ either. Should I swap in a used good LQ9 and swap cam/heads/intake over or rebuild the bottom end? Opinions?

Unless it's rebuilt, how do you know it's "good"?

Either have your current engine rebuilt.....or buy a 'new' short (or long) block and sell your 'broken' engine.

BTW.....I wouldn't bother with a 'new' engine unless it was a stroker.

Go big or go home!! IMHO, of course.

Depending on what got damaged.....
I would cut the crank .010 and drop in forged rods and pistons.

My current engine is a L76 with forged rods & pisons.

If this is your daily driver I recommend just getting the crank cut. Install all new bearings and seals. If you want get new piston rings and have the bored honed. Depending on how much miles are on the motor you may also want to replace the timing chain. At the end of the day you'll have a rebuilt bottom end
