spun bearing????
Some times if it's the rod bearing and it happens at high rpms, the piston travels further north, contacts the head, and the pin and rod pull out the bottom and chop the ******* block in half....literally tearing the cam and cylinders right out. Oil meets water and it's quite a mess.
If it's the mains...sometimes it will lock up or seize and bend the crank. Other times it will still run but lose oil pressure and make a squealing noise or screech. No matter which one it is almost certainly an expensive repair/replace.
