Default please help identify a camshaft

I've got a 2006 ls2 out of a GTO that I bought from a member here. He said the engine was stock except for a cam and tune. I've got the engine on the stand swapping oil pans and I can see a number on the camshaft right at cylinders #1 and #2. The number is 315605. It would be awesome if this can identify the camshaft. I've searched the number but haven't came up with anything. If anyone can shed some light on this I would be grateful. Thanks

That is a after market cam core number. I think it has been discontinued but that number will not tell you the cams finished spec.

I was afraid of that but thanks for the reply. One more question, do most aftermarket cam manufacturers put part numbers on the front of the cam.

Most companies scribe the cam on the back if you remove the rear cover it should be visible.
