Shaved L92's on LS2 PTV clearance??
While I know I need to double check during assembly, I'm just trying to get a feeler here. My original motor was a LQ4 w/ stock dished pistons and 230/236 .591/.609 113LSA cam. Heads on it were L92's shaved .030. Due to a bad day at the track I am replacing the LQ4 bottom with a stock LS2 short block. My question is more with cam specs and PTV clearance with changing over to the flat top pistons with the shaved heads. Tooley just spec'd a 227/240 .598/.588 111+3 based on my needs and am concerned about PVC with the flat tops and more aggressive cam. I am not fly cutting the pistons, I'll go less aggressive cam / thicker head gaskets before I pull the motor apart.
Thanks in advance!!

Check it for sure, but I am guessing if it does clear, you will have about "0"=.010" piston-to-valve on the intake side and about .020"=.030" on the exhaust. I would not run clearance that tight.
There is another option. Many have cut valve reliefs while engine is assembled using the Lindy Flycutter Tool.
