Knock sensor problem

I have a new striker LS3 going into my 944. It's running an LS1 computer and ls2 knock sensors. When I went to install the starter, the knock sensor was in the way. Also, the knock sensor is very close to to the header on the starter side. What do I need to do?

That's not a ls2 knock sensor.Thats a ls1 knock sensor that goes in the valley cover for ls1.
