at what point are hardened pushrods and trunion bearing upgrades required?
Running a 214/220 115 LSA cam in a 5.3 w/ a little over 10:1 compression, havent dynoed the cam yet but I have a feeling the peak is going to be somewhere between 6100-6300rpm. I reassembled the engine using the stock pushrods and rockers on LS6 "blue" springs from scoggin dickey, (PN 12499224). I currently rev the car out to 6200 (6150-6180 according to datalogs), but I am hesitant to rev higher on the stock valvetrain. At what point do you guys think hardened pushrods and upgrades to the rockers will be a requirement?

I always change pushrods when changing cam.
Have consistently revved a friends LS2 to 7,200rpm on standard rockers.
Having said that this year I broke a standard rocker on our LS3 when the needle rollers popped out the side of the rocker.

I see the trunion upgrade as a durability/ peace of mind/insurance, necessary as soon as possible. But that's just me. It's probably not actually needed until you start regularly revving past the engine's original redline.
Hardened pushrods should be installed any time you increase the valve spring pressure or add boost.
