Cam/compression questions for my 430 build...
My question.
How much static compression can I get away with on this thing with California's 91 pump gas?
10.7 would be my choice if I was doing that build to hopefully run 26 degrees wide open throttle total advance cause I know it will make some power while running happy.

A lot will come into play to calculate static and dynamic compression. Chamber cc, head gasket thickness, piston to deck measurement, lobe centerlines...
You can get some decent, general ideas here on the forum of what you can get away with on Cali 91, but your tuner is who you should ultimately listen to.
