Default Solid roller rocker question

Okay, so I have a 408 stroker with LS 3 style Heads. I decided to go with a solid roller camshaft/lifter set up. I'll be getting a set of jesel adjustable shaft mount roller rockers.

My question is… Should I go with the 1.7 ratio or the 1.8 rockers?
I'm looking for .700+" lift. Looking to turn it 7500 – 8000 RPM Max.
Which one should I go with?

– Oh, and it's a pro-charged set up.

There is no reason to go with 1.8 unless you can't make the lift with 1.7 the trunion and the lifter bearings take less load with 1.7 rocker. The 1.8 will also work fine .

When I ordered my solid roller from Kip recently, he told me the same thing: stick with 1.7 if I can hit my lift goals. So that's what I did, and I went with the Crower shaft setup. I finished the setup on those yesterday, hope to have the engine running within 2 weeks. (waiting on other work on the car to start it)

I too, have a custom solid roller from Kip. He suggested T&D 1.7 shaft mounts for the .750" lift cam. Talk to Kip, he'll set you up with the right combo.

I see a lot of people (pretty much everyone) use Kip for their cams. He was the guy I was going to go to anyway.

Hey Kip, I will be getting in touch with you soon. I believe my builder at DV8 might have had my TT 427 cam spec'D from you About a year ago. I'm out of here in New Orleans, about an hour from you.

Default boosted solid roller...

1.7 for boost, highly suggest to stay away from revving no where near that high with boost nice LL solid roller set up with Jesel rockers in the mix.
