L92 Head Steam Vents

L92 Head Steam Vents I've searched but all I can find is same threads stating to not block them... Not my issue here.
LS2 with L92 heads, boosted application. Rear ports are blocked off by the casting with on the bolt hole available... Can I drill that out or do I just forget about it since they're blocked off?
Just double checked, heads are on backwards so the front ports are not at the rear... Not taking the heads off so I'm thinking of just drilling/vacuuming if possible.
