Jake..... I know I already mention that I have a notebook full of nasty all motor builds.
I want to tell you where my research/recording and development have led me too.

-All the cars that run 10s
- All over 402 ci
- All have different race weights acourse
- All run pump gas
- All are 6 speed cars
- All running a hydraulic roller cam
- All running a fast type intake
- All are F bodies
- none of the cars are just fully gutted.
- the cars that trap over 130 plus mph is all running a LS7 head or a TFS 235/245 cathedral head.
- The LS3 heads to be stuck below the 128 mph mark no matter the cubes, cam specs, weight of the car or whoever ported the head.
-All AFR heads seem to be 127-130 mph MAX no matter the cubes, cam specs etc....
- The LS7 heads to trap really high at 135 on a couple combinations but have the same e.t or slower trap time than a TFS cathedral head.
- I only have one combo in my notebook using a MAST cathedral head and it traps 128 mph (413ci).

#now I do however have other combos in my notebook from real world results but they running a single plane type intake, race gas, or a fully gutted lexan glass car. Hope this info is useful cause I like helping anyone that's willing to help me cause after I'm not perfect.

I thought maybe you were the worst note taker ever until I saw this disclaimer at the end. LOL Heck there are several 6 liter builds that I know of with 6 liter engines and LS3 heads that top 130. But, they have those dreaded single planes and carburetors on them.

LOL!! I only have seen one 6 liter like that in a F body with a 6 speed. It had a single plane intake tho with a cut cowl. It was built by BES racing. *silver camaro owned by Charlie Polly.

Now it's plenty of 6 liter motors with LS3 heads going over 130 plus but all are in fox body mustangs which weighs less than 2900 lbs and even those are running single plane intakes and a lot of stall.

Single Plane... LS3 looks good.

LS7 is still the ultimate head, though. And the TFS 245s are monsters.

The aftermarket LS7 castings sure do look nice I must say. Not sure how much a MAST LS7 heads sell for complete but the Brodix heads are 3200 bucks for bare castings..... which is really steep if you compare those to what you can buy a complete set of TFS 245 heads for.

Only LS7 heads that are really worth looking at are the MAST with the hollow-stem valves or the PRCs with Ti valves. Both in the 3200 range complete.

TFS 245 are more like 2700. Hard to beat since I already have a FAST 102 for Cathedral ports...

Jake, do you feel like the intake/exhaust relationship of the head ALONE effects on how the motor runs in the real world vs dyno numbers ?

If you want big power then you will have to go sheetmetal intake and have it designed to fit under the hood. If you spend all the $'s on heads and the motor then why shortcut it by using a plastic intake?

The better question is why you're going around and posting threads that are 5 years old or more?
