ls7 2008 engine Hi folks i have a question for the 2008 c6 zo6 owners whats the most issue that avery one faced it with their engines or the factory issues for example ?? For example for me i faced in 43000 KM lifters issue and i have replaced the cam shaft and the 16 lifters but i didnt change my oil pump the mechanic said it works fine and my engine is Dry sump ?? and now my car has 49000KM
The most common one is the factory exhaust valve has too much clearance in the guide.. and it fails.... then takes out the block. Make sure that GM has fixed that. It is a free recall issue.
It sounds like you are abroad? Europe? Make sure you have it done. The 2008+ has the stronger transmission/differential compared the the 2006/2007 models.
