Default Katech High Capacity LS7 oil pump low pressure problem

Hi

I have a problem with Katech High Capacity LS7 I use 3 of them on ls7 engines the oil pressure under 175 KpA all the pump are new two of them I replaced it with oem Ls7 oil pump now it's over 280 KpA.. Anyone have that problem??



Now the third engine is a high compression engine I afraid to use a oem ls7 oil pump what do you think??



And what is the problem with Katech High Capacity???

Rebuilt engine? How big are the clearances? Low pressure isn't necessarily a bad thing.

To make an adequate response I need more information than just pressure. Also temperature and RPM. If it is 175 kPa (25psi) at idle with hot engine oil that is perfectly fine. A general minimum is at least 10psi/1000RPM with hot oil.
