How to open bolt bores fo 1/2" studs Getting ready to start assy of my Bored/Destroked motor and need to know the proper way of opening the head bolt bores for 1/2" studs.
Ream them? Drill them?
How do you fella's handle this?

You should have had the machine shop that bored the block machine the block for 1/2" studs. Bring the block back to them for machining. Check your heads to see if they will fit 1/2" studs and if not, let them do that too; push rod holes also if running 3/8". Then jetclean.
