Its going in a 04 2500 HD 4x4. 317 heads with a valve job and some minor port clean up. Stock truck intake and T- body. 4L80 Trans. I might consider a new torque convertor, and a TBSS intake. I'm trying to keep it simple.

I would recommend you calling various cam guys and see who you feel most comfortable with....

Absolutely agree with Thunderstruck!
I would have Kip cook up a custom cam for your
Engine.
I would also look at a Peak Speed Ported TBSS Intake.
No converter with towing though allot of extra heat!

I thought about the Cam motion one. I also thought about the Ls6 cam. I will most likely stay with the stock T/C. I don't want to go overboard on this build. I have read good things about the TBSS intake. It starts the whole snow ball effect with a new MAF, T-body , rails etc. Who is KIP? I'm waiting on the rotating assy. It's been 3 weeks all ready. I've also used up most of my budget! These motors are expensive. Do you think the stock injector size will be ok? I will be replacing them they have 170k on them. I'm also going to do the O2's maybe the radiator. Basically a total engine update.

Kip is the owner of Cam Motion. He would be more than happy to talk to you and help you get exactly what you need.
I am not familiar with the truck injectors to comment as to whether they are sufficient. I have my doubts the stock size injectors will feed a 408 though.
