Default 2005 L33 conflicting rod info

Sorry to ask and I have searched but I wanted to confirm before setting boost levels. Car is a 71 240z L33 and 4L80e setup. Some say I have gen 3 rods, stick to 600 whp, other state I have the Gen IV rods and I'm safe to 700 whp.

I have a 2005 L33. Which gen rods does the motor have? Motors in the car and I really don't want to pull it out and pull the pan just to verify. All going in a 1971 240Z

TIA

Well my engine specification software says that the L33 engine has press fit rods which would mean they're the early style. I know that the LS1 in 2004 had the good bushed rods (taken many apart) guess that didn't carry over to the non "performance" engines.

No that is incorrect. L33s absolutely do have the later floating pin style cracked cap rod.
I have one and have it apart. All L33s have the floating pin rods. Google around a bit and you'll see also. There is lots of misinformation out there but look up someone's build thread and search for photos. My rods are currently being resized and I'll snap a photo when I get them back if you don't just want to take my word.

No - I take your word for it, wouldn't be the first time PRO-SIS is wrong.
