Hi Tony,

Not to side track the thread but do you have the same opinion for a 427 with a 4.125 bore? I now have trickflow 235 heads. Thanks

That's clearly a better combo than a 454 with a 220 ish head for obvious reasons and overall I feel that's a good combo for the street if your focus was slightly skewed to more bottom and midrange while still making a respectable number upstairs.

So no, I wouldnt have the same opinion in your case but to positively say yes or no I would have needed to discuss your goals for the build. That head might be perfect (or my MMS 235's as a similar sized option) or a larger head may have been a better choice....its all combination driven.

Overall I think that combo would work well for most folks assuming it was cammed properly, had a Mamo ported 102 on it.....all the typical "cast of characters" any good stroker engine typically has!
