2500HD build! SERIOUS CRITIQUE NEEDED!!!
I have a fully built 95 k1500 5 speed manual, so I decided to build up my work truck since I got a really good deal on the truck, plus I know the 6.0 has big potential. The only downside to the 2500HD is she is a automatic, couldn't find any other truck for that cheap and in such good condition and with what it had done to it with a manual.
Here's the build: (COST's: 9000 for truck, 5000 in parts, labor 3500) 17,500 total expenses, including tuning dyno, and all the hard grunt labor of doing **** I don't have time to do.
PARTS:
LS3 Precision Race CNC Ported Heads
Upgraded GM Valves
.660 PRC/PAC dual spring kit with titanium retainers all milled to 229/236 Cam
Texas Speed 229/236, .629/.615, 111LSA, Three bolt core Cam
7.40 Hardened Chromoly Pushrods
Lifters
LS6 Race billet single roller timing set, Z06 chain, 3 keyway sprocket, and 3 bolt cam
Forged Wysco Pistons
LS6 Ported oil pump
ALL NEW SEALS AND GASKETS on everything
YANK Pro 3200 Stall converter for 4L80E
Transmission cooler with secondary fan
Custom Performance 1 3/4" Long tube headers
3" Performance Y pipe
K&N Cold Air
upgraded sparks and wires
Colder engine thermometer
I should have the truck tuned and dynoed by Tuesday maybe Wednesday if all goes to plan this month, so I was looking for critique if this should be a good set up for the truck, a little to late but before I get the truck back after the week and half its been in my shop. I wanted to hear some feedback on maybe potential horsepower numbers, or if anyone has a similar set up would recommend for me for the future. Hope you guys like the project keep you guys posted with progress.
I'll post pictures of the truck if anyone wants to see it and hopefully a video of truck running and dyno sheets! Hoping for 500 N/A is that realistic with this set up on the truck?

All that being said, now that you have rectangle port heads, the LSA blower will bolt right up, no problems, so you are halfway there. And ported heads with a blower will be lots of fun, you can say it was part of the plan all along.
But... without a blower, my predictions are that thing is a dog down low. Big intake runners, long tube headers, and a stall over 3k... none of that is heavy duty truck stuff, in my opinion.
