Shorter pushrod??

Shorter pushrod?? Installing new cam and solid roller setup. .644 lift on both intake and exhaust. Push rod length measures 7.200 which is shorter than factory - 7.400.
How is that? Thinking the new pushrod should be longer than factory.

Ha. Lol. That's it. I never even considered the length of that solid lifter. That dude is longer. Thanks for the insight. Makes sense now. Don't I feel like the bonehead.

I was away from equipment on earlier reply and remembered to exterior she'll of the lifter being longer. That's why I replied the way I did. Got home and looked and the actual internal portion is the same. Maybe why my P2V clearance is larger than what it should be. I posted a separate thread for that this morning. Scratching my head on this one.

Crower. The cup is all the way up at max length. I'm having other fitment issues with these Crowers. Bottom saddle of rocker is rubbing on stand bolt. My biggest concern is the amplified P2V clearance. I posted a separate thread on that. I think all this junk is related though. May try a different rocker. Not sure yet. Waiting on a call from Crower.
