P2V clearance

Still building my solid roller setup and measuring P2V clearance. With .644 lift on both I/E, I was expecting between .060 and .100. Unexpectedly got .375. Where do I start first to find out what happened? It's like the valve isn't opening as much as what it needs to. Plz and Thx.

1. What are the rest of your cam specs?
2. Has the block been deck?
3. What heads are you using and have they been milled?

As it stands, you're not giving enough info.....

I agree. But I got fought tooth and nail when I made that statement

In a properly spec'ed cam, lift is the least important spec as it pertains to piston/valve clearance.

Modeling clay method.
I understand duration has a greater impact on P2V clearance than lift, but what would explain .375 when it should be .060- .100?
