Default Help me figure out why my car smells like burnt oil

So I have noticed something with my car. Car has no visible leaks that I know of. When I drive my car and apply the gas it doesnt smell like oil. But once I let off the gas and the exhaust pops and im just coasting and there is a load on the engine I notice a smell of oil.

Never noticed anything like that with my 5.7 in my 02. BTW I have a 2005 LQ9 in my 69 camaro. I was maybe thinking back pressure? Im at a loss to what it is.

Thanks for any advice.

He said PCV not PVC which is the positive crankcase ventilation system. Also if it pops when you let off the gas it usually means the motor is running rich or there's an exhaust leak at the motor.
