Lifter noise
If it is significantly lower than that then it usually means your oil pump is worn out and needs to be changed.
Is shows in your signature your car only has 19K so I would bet your oil pump is okay. You should check pressure to be sure.
What are you mods? The LS engines can sound like a sewing machine with nothing wrong. If you have headers this will magnify any sounds from your valvetrain.

I was getting some VT noise after running the car hard...I was running 7.325 push rods which was preloading my 5315 Morels around .038-.040 on 2 cylinders and .048-.050 on the other 6. I ended up installing 7.350 pushrods which puts me on the high side of acceptable range, but it fixed the noise after hard runs. If all I did was track the car, I would leave the short rods in, but I prefer the quieter VT for street driving and occasional WOT blasts.
