Default Scrape sound turning LS3 by hand

I'm not having the best weekend, started off with misfire, then driving home I started to get a clicking sound and I can feel it in the peddles. I pulled the plugs and #5 plug is bent and touching the electrode. #7 and 8 plugs are bitch black. The car does not burn any oil. It's a 2010 with 55k on it. The clicking sound does not appear to be coming from the heads, more the flywheel/clutch area. Here is a video of the sound when I turn it by hand. It sounds very external to the motor. I would think if it's something internal it would sound more muffled.
Ever hear something like this before? Ideas on what it could be and what's up with the spark plugs?

How does this happen in 55k miles. Car has a good service record history. :-(

Anyone know good reliable experienced shops in Central TX Austin area?

Definitely sounds valve train related to me. Chunk of piston broke off perhaps. Smashed the spark plug closed and could have bent a valve one he way out

Haven't pulled the valve cover off. This is my DD and I think this is more major than I can handle myself in a short amount of time. It's hard to tell in the video but the noise seems to be coming from the bottom end, not the heads.

Foreign object in the cylinder smashed the plug, broken valve perhaps. New Long block in your future. STOP running it as you will only further damage it. FWIW

She's sitting at a Chevy dealer now. Hoping GM warranty god's will find pity on me because this shouldn't happen in 55k miles. We'll see... I'll know more in next few days I hope.

And if not, I'm not sure what I'll do. This is my DD and i don't exactly have funds to do much with it.

Not sure how a lifter part could flatten a spark plug?? Would have to come in through the intake or be part of the combustion chamber,I think....

Think he meant a part of the valve broke off and subsequently rattling around in the cylendar, spanked the spark plug.

lifter sticks valve floats or hangs open smacks piston, part of piston breaks and smacks the plug.

If it is stock you would think it would think it would hit the rev limiter before it floated the valves... at least my 2011 M-6 does...

None of ^ that stuff happened, I was actually idling waiting to make a left into work when it started misfiring. I initially didn't think anything of it. Was just a coil pack or wiring issue. My heart sunk when I pulled the plug. I think it's more wrist pin than valves. Hopefully I'll know for sure sometime tomorrow.

Got info back from Chevy dealer. It's a broken spring and valve, didn't get much more detail from the yet. They quoted me $7,370. They are looking into if GM will help me out since it's only a year out of warranty and only has 56k on it. Not sure what I'm going to do if they won't. Might try and sell it as it sits.
This F'in sucks!

Sounds like the valve head broke off, and there was damage to the block, so a new long block is needed. Should be covered under warranty...
