Pick-up O-Ring There are TWO common sizes of pick-up tube O-Rings.
Could you remember if it took some "effort" to fit the pick-up tube into the pump?

Absolutely NO pressure or real low? Lance has the likely culprit above but the bypass can have trash in it..or nothing at all! Also could have forgotten to bolt on the pickup. Barbell also but it sounds like you didn't go there.
I always keep a cheapo mechanical gauge around just to make sure the fancy electrical stuff isn't lying to me. Have you checked this way?
