I would think they'd be a hot seller once some people have some mileage on them and took them apart for closer imnpection.

With that said, TSP has a habit of prematurely letting the public know what's in the works.

Comp is supposed to be coming out with something similar too, except instead of a roller tip, its like the stock rocker but with a larger pad so you can use it with higher lift camshafts.

Would a mod like that do anything to alleviate the bronze valve-guide wear usually attributed to non-roller tip rocker arms putting a lateral load on valve stems?
Hope this reads as clearly as I thought it...... lol

I doubt it. The stock rocker arm tip acts like the bottom of a rocking chair, and when you get into higher lifts, the rocker tip can reach the end and want to really side load the valve guide. I think the Comp design extends the tip so that you can run more lift without running into that problem, but it still doesn't alleviate the side loading like roller tip would.

The LS7 version wont be out til mid summer 2017. The LS2/3 are in testing now. They are supposed to be priced around the same price as the YT and the Comps or $5-700.
Called TSP last week

I saw these at the PRI show. I remember something about the tip surface also being "coined" which reduces the grain size and makes for a smoother, harder surface. They were also interesting ratios--like 1.72 and 1.82 or 1.78 or so. Don't quote me exactly on that last part but the marketing material indicated something other than the standard 1.7/1.8.

I just saw a post about these an hour or so ago. I'm interested to see how they hold up compared to Yella Terra, Harland Sharp, and Comp Cam's roller rockers.

I know I'm not spending the $$$ for roller rockers any time soon.

I emailed TSP the other day and was told they are a couple months out still...then I saw they are doing a giveaway on facebook so who knows.

He 'thought' that they would maintain stock geometry so no change in pushrod length etc but said they have not yet confirmed that on a build.

Both rockers are interesting. It is about time that someone finally came out with some steel options.

I'm actually more interested in the Comp non-rollers than in the TSP rollers.

Hasn't Comp made "lightweight" steel(chromoly) RRs for quite some time now? I wonder why folks would buy the TSP roller tips instead of the Comp Ultra Pro Magnum? Is there negative press out there I have not seen? I'm no Comp fan but fairly sure they exist for cathedral and offset. And for about 400 bones.

The Comp's only come in a 1.8:1 ratio, which is probably a deal breaker for some. I have a set that are going on my new engine with a stock cam and they're pretty good looking rockers.
