LS3 Valve Spring Upgrade (drop in)
I'm just curious if anyone here has ever used the Trickflow Racing (by PAC) spring # TFS-16918-16. Summit sells them for $140ish and according to this document, they fit the stock retainer and locks.

And according to the Trickflow website.

They fit inside the stock seats, which if i remember correctly, are the valve seals themselves. Its a seat/seal deal. Right?
Can I buy just these springs and slap them into my LS3 head?
Comp 918s are drop in as well. They are 125 lbs at 1.800" and 367 at 1.150" and have a max lift of .625".
Trickflow Springs are made by PAC Racing and the springs you listed from Trickflow are the PAC 1218's. A good price for the PAC 1218's is $139 which is what I paid for mine. Very good springs for a smaller cam under .580" lift for good spring life.
Stock seals have a built in seat. I recommend changing the intake and exhaust seals with new OEM seals while your in their since they are cheap.
