Default 2007 Yukon Denali l92 knock

I bought an 2007 Yukon Denali with 113k miles. Was theft recovery. I've been driving it since March. Since day one I've always heard maybe a slight rod knock but it's never gotten any louder. Cold start and settled idle you won't hear anything but when it warms up it knocks on the passenger side. Then I drive it for five minutes and it's almost completely gone but I still hear a very very faint knock over the fans. Can barely hear it once it's been driven. Does this everyday. I beat on it every now and then to keep carbon build up out. I imagine if it were a rod the engine would have died a month back wouldn't it? Raced a challenger last night and kept up with his fender. No change in noise.

You might want to check torque converter bolts, though they are usually pretty consistent whether warm or cold. Just an idea.
