Default Part thoughts

New Guy here,
I have to DOD/AFM delete my 2007 Suburban, 5.3L LC9 (I think)
I ordered these parts, anyone with up close & personal experience with this engine see a problem???
I plan on having the heads rebuilt, there shouldn't be any PTV problems with this camshaft??? Oh Cometic .040 head gaskets also.
Any info is greatly appreciated
I did, I'm way more confused now!!!

You will also likely need a new crank bolt, front cover gasket and seal, water pump gaskets, and a different oil pump.
Your chain was already an ls2 chain also. There seem to be some repetitive parts you bought but dont need also.

Youll also need exhaust manifold gaskets and possibly intake manifold gaskets as well.

I have the gaskets coming from Cometic, .040 MLS
I ordered a NAL-12557840 CRANK BOLT, No Good?
What Parts don't I need? I'll gladly save some$$$, It's a daily Driver, not a cool project car. lol

I did skip over the crank bolt. My apologies. But that valley cover wont work the way you want it to. The truck manifold doesnt have the setup for the valley vent tube. You need the L92 valley cover which is alot less expensive.
I didnt say anything about head gaskets but using .040 gaskets on a stock build and not knowing how far your piston sticks out of the hole can be an issue. Id recommend either stock thickness or .045 at the thinnest.
That engine doesnt have vvt then?

If you want the right parts, let me know. Youll still need the front cover gasket kit and possibly even valve cover gaskets. The stock gm ones are hard and can stretch quite a bit and be hard to reseal vs the felpro.
If you are having the heads rebuilt, it would be a good idea to get new valve stem seals as well also.
And our ls7 lifter kit is $95 instead of the 120 you paid from summit.

Talking to a sponsor or prof installer on here clearly pays off vs just buying off summit etc.
