Default Valve springs

I have an Ly6, 6.0 ltr Im looking to cam it with some thing roughly around 525 lift like the hot cam. Im looking at these valve springs 12499224, wondering if They will work with my keepers and retainers? Or will they not or is there a reason why I shouldnt reuse them? Its only a 21k motor and it wont see any competition, mostly cruising, a burn our here and there, Maybe a full throttle blast on the on ramp to I84, lol.
Thoughts?

We have a complete highlift hotcam kit for the same price as GM but better cam, springs, and pushrods.
Just cam and springs is $515 or cam springs and pr is $575.
Here is the thread on it
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/1868139-new-improved-prototype-hot-cam.html

Resd what he says in the last couple posts, and even sounds better!!
Dyno results soon, but itll make a bit more power than the reg hot cam for the same price with better components.

Not in your sig WS6Store.

Any reason why you want the Hot Cam? What Vehicle, Truck?

The 12499224 are great stock replacment springs for moderate low lift cams up to .550 lift. You can go more lift but generally a better spring should be used. Another great stock replacment spring is the PAC1218 Beehives. Great springs up to .600 lift with moderate lobes.

Now if you are in a heavy truck, I would recommend a cam around 216/220 up to a 224/224 for a nice daily driver cam.

Definitely contact WS6Store and they can put together a nice kit for you with everything you need at a great price. Very good customer service.

I forgot when i post mobile it doesnt show my sig. Technology right?

Thanks for the good words!

An interesting read about being belowax lift but still running into issues is here

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iv-internal-engine/1869859-2006-ls2-engine-destroyed-comp-valve-spring-26918-a.html

The lobe design is also crucial not just staying under max lift. I prefer not using the ls6 spring for a few reasons, one is its lack of good pressure.
