spark plug torque 2007 L76
This is because the conic seal leverage the threads hard notice is hard to brake the spark plug loose.

I use a torque wrench and do all eight plugs to 11 ft/lb per GM spec. No issues on the 99TA and it's had like a dozen plug changes over ~163,xxx miles. A little anti-seize helps too.
Many people have no idea what 11 ft / lb of torque feels like on a plug. I suggest tightening a couple of the easy to reach plugs with the torque wrench to get an idea of the correct snug feel. It's easy to over tighten plugs in an aluminum cylinder head.
The case was my 2007 L-92 Escalade.
They were so tight I thought the head would strip, pull the threads.
I "soaked" the plugs in WD-40, this allowed removal.
WHAT WAS FOUND : NO Anti-Sieze, NO lube of any kind. (OEM Assembly)
I USE Copper Slip (jet nut) on ALL my plug installations.
This IS best for heat transfer.
I USE Silicon Grease on the SP Boot.
Yes, the boots too were "damaged" upon removal at first change, they too were frozen onto the insulator.
