The factory rocker arm has a swipe pad that seems to work great for up to .600" but then begins to bind/scrub and while lots of people will claim they have run more lift with no issues, I ask what does the rocker pad AND valve tip look like after 10,20, or 30 thousand miles ??? The offset shape of the LS3 intake adds to this dilemma IMO(based on what I've seen)
Thanks a lot for that info, that is the kind of stuff i like to hear, issues that have been seen by other users.

Just paid the shop to order the stuff
TSP stage 3 cam 231/246 .640"/.615" lift on a 111 LSA, upgraded trunion kit, pushrods, springs and retainers
Scheduled to be installed and dyno tuned the 2nd week of August.

I spoke with the shop about the issue with the rocker swipe pad with greater than .600" lift. We decided that we will most likely evaluate the rockers at a later date and if any excessive wear is shown then i will upgrade to roller rockers

Default Exhaust System Spec ?

Hi Rabid, thanks.

My Exhaust System model choice was "shorties" NOT good for HP or Torque.

Would you state you Exhaust System "specs" ?

Texas Speed 1 7/8 Long tube headers, no cats, Corsa ZL1 exhaust. Should be 3 inch all the way from the header to the exhaust tips

Just scheduled a baseline dyno for August 4th. I'm in South Florida so the heat and humidity sucks, but it will at least give us a solid before and after look at the HP and TQ

I'm seeing about 70hp and 30tq gains to the wheels with more power from 3200 rpms to cut-off.

Nice!

So far it's great. I was expecting it to be harder to drive. Very minimal bucking. Able to put it in 6th gear at 50mph with no issues. The power that hits at 5,000rpm is phenominal
