Looking for advise. im currently looking for a small cam for my daily driver. I have my eyes on tsp 220r 220/220 .600/.600 lsa114 or the 224r. I'm planning on upgrading to the 243 heads work shorty headers, as far as the valve train what will I need. Can I use my stock lifters if not which ones should I get. Of course since I'm going with 243 I'm assuming I need newer push rods. On the rocker arms should I go with gm performance 1.5 and the beehive springs and use the same valves.

With shorty headers I would do 220/226, 222/228 , 6*, split mild lobes
Under .580" lift. Cam Motion has what you need and can advise as well.

We have a great cam for your application.
Our high lift hot cam. Cam and springs runs $515. The springs are beehive so they work on your 243 heads with no issues!

It's an f-body and I just saw pics of the manifolds, they are not going to work like you they exit from the center. I'll stick with shorty, I lowered my car so I don't want long tubes.
