You are going about it the wrong way. Esp cutting so much off of a piston that has a dish. That's going to make it weaker. Plus a dish taking away even more compression ratio...
Who is actually guiding you on this build? I not knocking it, but youre gonna have a hard time with rods. Before ordering parts and spending a bunch of money you should have planned it out.

You can rev a longer stroke high as well.
A high revving ls is neat but lacking in other areas and built for a different purpose most of the time.

I looked through 10 rod companies and custom is the only way to make it work unless you cut the deck to use the 6.350 rod.
But you should not cut it until you measure. Even then a small journal crank...no one makes 6.350 rods for that that i have seen.

Callies makes a 6.350" Small Journal Rod.
Very Expensive though.

They are phasing out quite a few rods just like they did the c series cranks also, so its hard to tell what they do and do not have sometimes.

You could always call if you have the receipt to the manufacturer... I've paid restock fee on new in the box intake to get newer one about 8 months later.*Super Vic from a Vic Jr. Same could be said for other parts... I hate reselling brand new parts ( 2 time consuming ) I always try to pay restocking fee if it's not used. Done deal. If you have a smooth mouth piece your still spending the money $ with them *callies/wiseco......etc..it's just, updated and you pay the restock fee. Win win they get there money and you get what's needed to do the build Correctly.

Conversation. Mile High Cranks would be the person to call for special attention crank and rod modifications.
