Custom cam for 5.3? I have an 05 LH6 5.3 with 799s milled .025 for 10.5 CR. I'm using the NNBS truck intake with 90mm TB. Motor will be in a 3500lb car, with an auto. Will be equal street/strip, with plans for 150 shot plate kit. Not wanting something with peaky power, but still want it to pull to 6300+. Would a shelf cam suffice, or something custom be more suitable. Any specific recommendations?
The absolute best is to fill out a custom cam sheet and have it spec for your purpose I do this every engine i build heck is only 40. bucks take as much time as you need you can't beat it, you'll be glad you did Patrick G is the go to man.

Honestly our high lift hot cam will do everything you want we have 5 on hand. likes nitrous also. 6300 is peak power also. Great for a budget also at $515 or $580 with prs.
