LS3 deck height

LS3 deck height
I have a 2010 LS3 block with 60k miles. It is at the machine shop right now. I was talking to them about it and they suggest it be decked square with the mains, it probably could use a fresh surface anyways. I was telling them I couldn't go too far with it due to my pistons being at 0 deck at 9.240" according to wiseco specs. It hasn't been measured yet but I've read standard deck height varies from 9.235-9.245 most being 9.240".
So my question is will it hurt if my pistons are out of the hole .005 or so? They told me I don't want anything above deck, and if anything I'd want them down in the hole.
My pistons are Wiesco 4.070" -3.2cc valve reliefs and Callies compstar 6.125" rods, but I have not purchased rods yet. If its too bad, could they just mill tops of pistons? I don't think I'll run into anything major to come from it. They told me if they were out of the hole maybe run a 6.100" rod. That would put me down in the hole .010" or .015" depending on where everything is at.
So whats do you guys think? I did some research and they say its common for stock pistons to be above deck and some was talking about forged stuff saying sometimes .010 above deck.
