When a Solid Roller Lifter is fitted there needs to be a way of adjusting the Valve Lash with the OEM style Rocker Arm, the best one to use in the engine.

What is stated : The Lash Cap is "sized" for correct lash, how clever !

I also found that the contact patch of rocker arm/valve stem is MUCH wider as the valve is lifted to .630" with Lash Caps fitted.
I have read threads here that state problems with rocker arm/valve stem wear.
Would this be the method that most here use to solve that problem ?
I think that would be the best solution. I considered doing the same on an application with about .640" valve lift. Instead I ended up milled the rocker stand to lower the rocker and the sweep of the rocker still went from edge to edge of the valve tip. A cap would have the same effect on geometry as lowering the rocker, and give a wider contact area with minimal weight penalty.
