PatG is great. So is Martin Smallwood. So is Kip Fabre at cam motion. If you are already doing solids, consider using cam motion LLSR.

Ok, forgive me as it’s been a while since I’ve paid attention to things in LS1TECH.
Pat G always seemed conservative to me in his cam designs.
Kip is on my list to talk to
Martin did my current camshaft. Makes OK power at 720hp. However he has kind of disappeared lately. Hard to get a hold of
Ed Curtis is making great power right now with square port heads! Again very hard to communicate with
Forgot about Geoff, i will contact him
Also on my “to call list” is Bullet

Pat G's cams might be conservative, but they WORK, sometimes better than ones seemingly "wilder". He KNOWS his cam events, and that is where the action is.

I have my reasons I like Pat G the most. He answers all questions HONESTLY. He asks the MOST questions about a build such as compression, intake, exhaust, car weight, heads, gearing, intended use of vehicle, etc.
I've seen him take him my buddie 402ci ws6 6 speed car to 10s with two different set of heads. 10.9s at 126.6 mph with CNC L92 heads then TFS 235 heads swap netted a 10.4 @ 132. He speced both cams for each set of heads. The car made 545 rwhp on the mustang dyno with the TFS heads.
The car weigh 3700 lbs with driver also so it's no tin can at all. He makes a stroker do what it suppose to do!! Its sad seeing 400 plus cube cars struggle to run 11s!

Like I said, Martin did my current cam. Hydraulic roller made 716hp on an engine dyno and it’s been 9.37@143.8 with a craptastic 60’ in a new chassis.
I’m looking to make enough power to run in the 8.8x range or better N/A.

Really, for LLSR you should just call cam motion. Check out the 388 Steve canned to 630 RWHP...

Here it is. It ran 10.4@136 on a track that was shut down to repave because the surface was greasy. There was an article on it in lsxmag too. Pretty badass car.

I've run their old Flat Tappet Gen I solid/hydraulic stuff; a Low Lash BBC solid roller and a GEN III hydraulic roller......all have performed well !!!!!!
