Afr245 pushrods length/shimming?
Hi guys,
I have some afr 245 cathedral heads on order, I am in the U.K. so shipping is expensive so try and do multiple items in one ship.
I am on standard rockers and will be using a custom cam from Texas Speed, 242/251 .629/.629 110+2, block has been decked 9.228, will i more than likely need to shim rockers? I know it’s not realistic to calculate pushrods without measuring, the Dart heads I took of I was running 7.400 rods with no problems.

You won't "need" to shim the rockers but if it's a hassle to get pushrods custom length, shims will accomplish what you're doing. You might even find you need longer pushrods due to the smaller cam base circle so it might work out just fine.

Here it is MY 419CI vs 454LSX Crate motor, we just dont get the figures you guys do, but this is good, I was hoping to break 600 on this Dyno, who are the manufacturer of the ECU so 611.7 at the crank.
